We’re looking for a front-end developer that knows their stuff, wants to put their knowledge to good use and help thousands of consumers safely navigate the e-commerce jungle. Your code will help build a safe space for them to make smarter purchases based on the things they care most about.
At Prisjakt we work in a domain setup and live by agile principles. Working in domains means being a part of cross-functional teams dedicated to a specific task. As a front-end developer, you’d be part of one of the product-facing domains, building new experiences for our users.
Your team consists of UX designers, front-end and back-end developers – and more depending on what goals the domain has. That can be anything from architects and devops to marketing specialists.
What we think you’re like
You have a curious mind that likes to explore the unknown and experiment to learn more. Someone who is willing to challenge yourself and others for the team to grow and succeed. Even though your field of expertise is within the front-end setting, you’re not afraid to think big and speak your mind to get the best solutions in place.
When things don’t go as planned you always take the opportunity to grow, learn and improve rather than sulk. You know that it’s part of the job and never hesitate to share your learning experiences with others. For you sharing truly is caring and being communicative is a given to you.
What you need to bring
- A decent amount of time working with modern web development
- Accessibility thinking
- Worked with building microservices
- A/B testing
- GCP or AWS or other cloud services
We want you to start loving Mondays
Our single dearest principle is that you remain yourself. So there is no need for a job persona when working here. We’ve made it our mission to make you feel excited about Mondays and also make it easier for you to manage the hassle of everyday life. That’s why you have five hours every single week to focus on you. Two hours of physical activity and three hours dedicated to learning.
We also really like to experiment, have Fika together and do things a bit differently (CEO dressing up as Jon Snow during a company dinner at a castle in Zell am See is just one of many stories). So those that like a mandated dress code, have a lot of prestige or think fun can’t also equal kickass and professionalism won’t like it here.
You can read more about us in the Prisjakt Culture book (http://bit.ly/2fPgXeB) if you like it – you’ll definitely like us.
Where: Right now from your home – but in the future, you will preferably be based in Malmö (can be discussed)
