  • Support Divisional R&D in the development of connected products
  • Be a speaking partner and subject matter expert for business area stakeholders and customers
  • Engage, advise and educate project teams in matters related to software security
  • Ensure that key security initiatives are identified and supported
  • Identify synergies and areas of improvement, based on legislation and demand, and enhance supporting documentation

As a security engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing the structure of our SDLC and support different divisions within software security. That means that you will support in assessing market trends and needs, and support development teams within the R&D organization to adjust to and implement these requirements. Therefore, it’s important that you have an understanding of the tools, processes, and environments commonly used in software development.

The role also includes:

  • Support secure development of digital projects
  • Enhance security way of working and develop frameworks for security best practices
  • Increase the visibility of and awareness around security in the business area

In the role of security engineer, you will work closely with several stakeholders in the business area and the Business Area Security Team. You will report to the Security Officer. This position will be located in Stockholm, Sweden.


    To be successful in the role as a security engineer, we believe that you have several years of relevant cross-functional experience, including both software development and cybersecurity

    You are a result-oriented individual who is creative and forward-thinking. We believe that you have very strong social skills and a collaborative mindset since communication on different levels within the organization will play a crucial part in succeeding in this position.


    You may have had a leading position in a development team, but you may also have come from a technical security role, such as penetration tester. We believe you have a strong interest in software development and cybersecurity and want to combine these two areas in your daily work. You have an extensive technical background with expert knowledge in several areas, such as:

    • Operating systems, e.g. Linux, macOS, Windows
    • Software solutions, e.g. Jenkins, Jira, Testrail, Git, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
    • Programming languages, e.g. C, C#, .NET, Python, Java, Javascript
    • Development methodologies, e.g. Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps

    This role requires professional proficiency in English. Professional proficiency in Swedish is highly meritorious.


    • Higher education within applicable field, such as Engineering, Information Security, Computer Science
    • Certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, CISM, CEH, SSCP, or similar
    • Additional languages – for example, Mandarin, German, Czech
