We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer for our client!
Project and role description
The client has several teams working within Authorisations, and they need to strengthen the area with an experienced and senior QA Engineer to be able to deliver on their prioritized initiative.
You will be part of an agile self-organizing development team that is involved in all aspects of development such as requirements work, architecture, development, testing, operation, etc. SAFe is a natural part of our everyday life. The clients technology focus is .Net Core, Apache Kafka, SQL Server, containers and DevSecOps.
When working as a QA Engineer, you will be working with manual testing, automated testing and understanding requirements.
Responsibilites
– Define and design test strategies, plans, and cases
– Perform manual testing, document results, and report defects
– Develop automated test
– Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues
Requirements
• You have at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• You have broad experience working with quality assurance at a large company.
• You can relatively quickly familiarize yourself with a complex surrounding environment. In addition to performing tests, which is the daily work, you will work together with other testers and can contribute to our test strategy.
Technical skills
• At least 7 years of experience as a test engineer with experience with manual testing
• Proficiency in test management software (e.g., TestRail, JIRA)
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and software testing lifecycle
• Familiarity with various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, integration, system, user acceptance testing)
• Previous work experience with .NET development is a plus
